The Gainesville Restaurant Organizing Committee is an organization specifically for workers in the food service industry. We are a group dedicated to improving the working conditions and living standards of our members, and restaurant workers in Gainesville generally by applying community pressure on employers who refuse to follow the law or guarantee their workers decent treatment. We aim to educate our membership and the public about the rights which working people have at their jobs, and collectively act to defend them.
